Intern - Music Event Coordination

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Mamas in Music is seeking a New York-based Event Coordinator Intern to support 4-8 in-person community events each year. Great role for someone excited by event planning in the music world.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning and producing local MiM events
• Research venues and vendors
• Handle scheduling, invites, and attendee communication
• Work with Marketing on promo assets
• On-the-ground support at events

Requirements:
• Must live in NYC
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable speaking with venues/vendors
• 5-15 hours/week (Will vary depending on event cycles)

Duration
• Start/End Date is flexible but ideally looking for someone that can start in January 2026 and commit for a minimum of 3 months

Additional Information:
• You'll work directly with our chapter leaders or organizational director depending on the event.
