POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Operations responsibilities support all business operations and people. The ideal candidate is an ambitious doer and leader. This candidate is an excellent communicator and has a successful track record of supporting C-level executives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
- Build long term, trusting relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
- Playing a leading role in compiling company budget and growth strategy.
- Executing strategies to optimize company and asset growth.
- Ensuring expertise and effectiveness across operating platforms.
- Creating strategies to challenge losses, and implementing initiatives to reduce company costs.
- Creating financial expense reports.
- Driving employees and leading performance reviews, to ensure engaged and skilled workforce.
- Initiating better business practices.
- Collaborating with leadership to build an environment of collective responsibility and accountability.
- Ensuring adherence to key performance objectives to meet business and customer expectations.
- Drive alignment, collaboration and communication throughout the company operations
- Develop and grow leaders, attract and retain relations within the operations organization
- Effectively work to help prioritize the most important roadmap items as well as operational improvements.
- Communicate and advocate for your team's needs and priorities that aligns with the mission of the company. To make sure that the Trust roadmap and strategy reflects a strong operations voice and sets the team up for success.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens
- Significant executive support experience, including supporting C-suite executives. At least 5-10 years preferably in a startup and media agency
- Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information regarding high level transactions discretely and with diplomacy
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including clients, senior executives, staff, community leaders, and partners
- Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans
- Problem solver able to keep calm and efficient under pressure and in crisis
- Deep understanding of Trust and Safety and/or Customer Service Operations and all functional areas that interface at partners with ability to shape/input functional strategies
- Proven Track record of people development, employee engagement and people manager skills.
- Ability to work under conditions of ambiguity in a fast-growth, sometimes uncertain and complex environment - comfortable acting with minimal planning, direction, and supervision. You can identify issues both within and outside of your immediate scope, and propose solutions
EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS
- Strong work tenure: 5+ years of experience supporting C-Suite Executives, President/CEO of media and or entertainment company, start-up or equivalent
- Experience and interest in partnership and product development, business, production or media
