The Associate, Planning and Development will assist in the responsibilities associated with renovation and physical improvements to Dodger Stadium. This position is designed to provide an interesting and rewarding learning experience that will enhance the student's academic knowledge, further their education and improve their professional and personal growth and career path.
Job Functions:
• Archive 2019/current player memorabilia
• Assist in creation of displays throughout the stadium, including displays related to the Legends of Dodger Baseball program
• Update current displays, including the addition of captions translated into multiple languages and other elements emphasizing the Dodgers' international presence
• Review on site signage and note any inconsistencies, out of date or erroneous information and/or any damage or deterioration to signage, and work with the team to coordinate replacements
• Assist in creation of presentations
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in undergraduate or advance degree program studying Urban or City Planning, Architecture, Interior or Graphic Design or a closely related field
• Bilingual skill set is a plus
• Proficiency in Photoshop is a plus
• Must be a team player and have excellent customer support skill
• Possess analytical and problem solving skills
• Possess strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to create clear and knowledgeable presentations
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to provide careful attention to detail is critical
Time Commitment
• 15-24 hours per week which may include limited weekends and holidays
• Available June through September
