Magical Realism Films is now seeking crew for shoot in April. Some pay negotiable.
This shoot will be non-traditional, crew must be hyperflexible for this tiny, experimental indie 3-day film shoot. You will be part of very small crew, on location in a house in the desert 3 hours out of LA near Palm Springs with swimming pool crew can use! Close quarters, shared rooms make accepting smokers impractical.
AC/Grip/Gaffer --
Some experience loading magazines (Our cam= Ultra CP-16r), must be flexible and enjoy quick changes of direction, very open to task switching, for instance: No magazines to load? Sequence being shot in HD? Hold this reflector please, HD latitude sucks.
Production Designer--
Hope you like laughing with this budget, but get some experience anyway. Must enjoy chaos and cheerfully decorating chaos. Close quarters, shared rooms make accepting smokers impractical.
Soundperson --
Talented beginners, this is your chance. We have Zoom H4N, (2) wireless Lectro UHF lavs, carbon boom, midrange hyper cardioid rig for you to learn on. Must like variety of non-standard tasks, you might be slating, etc.
