MadRiver Pictures and IMR is looking for interns for the summer semester. Our past films include PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, JACKIE, LOVING, THE LOST CITY OF Z, and THE SISTERS BROTHERS. We are currently filming biopic WHAT IS LIFE WORTH starring Michael Keaton, Stanley Tucci, and Amy Ryan. Later this year, we will go into production on WWII-era drama RUIN, which stars Margot Robbie and Matthias Schoenarts. Our office is located in Beverly Hills.
We are looking for candidates who are outgoing, hard-working, personable, and strong in their ability to read and evaluate material. Interns will learn the ropes of working in feature film/television development, production, financing, and sales, getting an in-depth and hands-on experience. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reading scripts, books, and other materials and writing coverage
- Providing research on various projects
- Compiling director, writer, and actor lists for executives
- Executive assistant duties including covering phones, running errands, and office administration
This is an unpaid internship. College credit available upon request.
