How do I hire an Office Administrator? Job Summary:
Mack Sennett Studios is seeking an Office Administrator who will provide assistance to the CEO and Operations Director by overseeing the day-to-day administrative aspects of the Studio. While not mandatory, previous studio experience is a big plus. This is a unique opportunity for an energetic self-starter who is motivated to get in on the ground level of a new business and grow with the company.
The ideal candidate:
Understands the importance of administrative excellence
Has a proven track record of success in prior administrative endeavors
Understands the impact of this position's decision making to the overall operation of the organization
Possesses good judgment, strong problem solving skills, effective communication skills and strong customer service skills
Proven ability to balance and effectively prioritize numerous responsibilities and multi-task with a sense of urgency
Is a demonstrated team player
Responsibilities and Duties:
Run errands when necessary
Business development research for CEO and Operations Director
Ensure sure all forms of online presence are kept up-to-date including website, social networking platforms etc.
Attend and contribute towards weekly forward planning meetings.
Respect the confidentiality regarding client information contained in any rosters, booking systems and within the company.
Undertake any other relevant administrative tasks/ projects to ensure the smooth running of the facility such as correspondence and calendaring.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to pass a background check
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Excellent oral and written communication skills
BA/BS in related field or high school diploma and equivalent work experience
5 + years' experience in similar or related field
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for MAC
Proficient skills in basic web-page maintenance and all forms of online social networking (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc)
