As a Manager of Global Diversity Recruiting and Programs for Lucasfilm, you will play a key role in strengthening the Company’s vision and commitment to diversity and inclusion within all of our lines of businesses including Lucasfilm, Lucasfilm Animation, Industrial Light & Magic, ILMxLAB and Skywalker Sound with a specific focus on the talent we recruit, both internally and externally.
As we grow our business and teams, we look for people from a wide range of backgrounds to reflect the global nature of our customers. As a part of our recruitment function, you will lead efforts to ensure inclusion and diversity are a top priority by implementing business-aligned diversity recruiting strategies that yield measurable results. You will partner closely with both Lucasfilm and Disney Enterprise D&I teams, Talent Acquisition, Employee Resources Groups, Human Resources, People Insights, Hiring Leaders and more.
We are looking for a leader who reflects the innovative spirit, collaborative mindset and passion for great filmmaking that define Lucasfilm.
What you’ll do
• Develop a Global Diversity Recruiting Strategy focused on External D&I recruiting practices and partnerships
• Share our Global Diversity Recruiting strategy with key stakeholders ultimately influencing leaders across the business
• Drive ROI from Diversity Partnerships from a recruiting perspective
• Partner with Recruiters, HR and Business Leaders to develop, manage, and support efforts that strengthen our diversity and inclusion mission.
• Partner with our Emerging Talent and Recruiting teams as well as our ERGs to develop partnerships with Diverse Institutions to bring more diverse professional level talent into the organization
• Design diversity hiring frameworks, amplifying & driving diverse slating, and creating programmatic solutions across our Lucasfilm Companies that impact both our internal employee population as well as bringing more diverse talent into the company
• Design, launch and scale programs focused on increasing hires from underrepresented groups that support our business goals
• Develop toolkits and best practices to equip our recruiting organization with tools and resources aimed at increasing underrepresented people in our pipelines
• Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. D&I, HR, Outreach & Engagement, Legal, Finance, People Insights, etc.)
• Hire and manage a small team of sourcers/candidate developers.
What we’re looking for
• A proven passion for inclusion and diversity and experience working with organizations with members from underrepresented groups
• 5 years of experience in diversity recruiting and/or employee programs
• Project management experience, ideally in the HR, Recruiting or Inclusion & Diversity space
• Excellent EQ and an empathetic communication style that fosters connection, collaboration and confidence
• Self-starter and proactive about their work and determining new ideas for our team to explore.
• Experience developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans
• Knowledge of enterprise-wide Applicant Tracking systems and proven experience working in a results measured environment
• Strong people management skills
