Part Time Unpaid Internship
Reporting To: Manager, Marketing and Creative Services
Hours: 20 hours/week (Seasonal)
Salary: Non paid – College Credit offered
This internship program is an opportunity for students to build their work experience and learn the behind-the-scenes operations of a WNBA team. As the Video-Motion Graphics Intern you will participate in a series of events and activities exposing you to all departments as well as the many facets of working for a professional sports team. You will assist with the implementation and execution of the Sparks overall marketing plan and promotional events.

• This is a fun, fast-paced internship that will add real work experience to your resume as well as your coursework
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prioritize video library and log game melts for easy access
• Build outstanding and engaging content for all social and digital properties
• Build short-form video packages from current footage
• Produce motion graphics for opening titles and end cards
• Build sizzle reels and highlight videos for social media
• Create GIFs and build GIF library
• Build sound bite library from game footage
• Update and maintain YouTube channel
• Update and post videos on LASparks.com
• Work closely with marketing department to ensure quality, consistency, and creative flow of overall goals

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Working to achieve Bachelor or Master's degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Photography, Film, Sports Management or related fields
• Experienced knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Strong Ability to build motion graphics in Adobe After Effects (Knowledge of Cinema 4D is a plus)
• Knowledge of basic news gathering techniques
• Ability to collaborate and communicate in a team environment
• Knowledge of exporting video for web-based format
• Strong knowledge of social media
• Basketball knowledge and passion is helpful but not required
• Quick learner who is able to adapt and excel in various environments
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter, ambitious, positive, reliable and high-energy
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of efficiency and effectiveness
• Must have own DSLR camera with video capabilities
• Some use of personal vehicle
• Includes nights and weekend hours
