Job Functions:
- Support the Business Analytics function with data analysis, project management, and strategic planning
• Organize, analyze, and present data from ticket sales and operations, food and beverage sales, merchandise sales, social media interaction, loyalty programs, survey responses, third party resources, stadium operations, capital expenditures, corporate partnerships, and other business areas
• Build, maintain, and audit the internal business intelligence suite across Tableau and other potential platforms
• Create and manage quality control standards and checks for data and reporting
• Perform related duties as required
Help grow the Dodgers market research practice by defining strategy and goals, and implementing research best practices
• Manage fan surveying initiatives including the building, execution, and analysis of online surveys
• Build and maintain a Dodger branded research community and fan panel that generates targeted and relevant insights over time
• Assist in the execution of in-person fan focus groups
• Deliver insights and results to internal stakeholders
Support the organizational implementation of business intelligence tools such as CRM and data visualization
• Maintain data integrity within CRM
• Use sales and CRM data to assist in lead scoring and churn modeling
• Communicate with management regarding strategies that would best achieve department goals and create targeted campaigns
• Identify, analyze, and present data to identify areas of opportunity to improve the effectiveness of our sales process
• Enhance CRM processes by making recommendations on best practices, holding user groups for ongoing feedback, and researching other sports teams/companies on ways to improve sales and service support
• Work with IT on the development of custom features to increase usability and functionality of the system
• Campaign analysis to include recaps incorporating all process metrics including call volume, appointments, tasks, and opportunity stages
• Help train sales staff on CRM best practices
• Provide daily CRM support as needed
• Create strategic workflows and processes to optimize operational efficiency
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a closely related field
• Minimum three years' work experience in finance, statistics, business consulting, or related field
• Familiarity and good judgment with a broad range of methodologies and tools, such as exploratory data manipulation and analysis, regression analysis, forecasting models, simulation, probability models, and optimization
• Proficient with financial and statistical modeling
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce is required, working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, VBA, and statistical languages such as R is preferred
• Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to successfully design and implement cross-functional projects
