The Account Executive, Season Ticket Account Services is responsible for the retention, growth and relationships between businesses or consumers of the Los Angeles Dodgers; including season tickets and partial plan ticket holders.
Job Functions:
• Responsible for 600 accounts on average, valued at $5M per year, responsible for a high renewal rates and hitting new sales goals
• This position will service season ticket holders via phone calls, emails and visiting key influencers offsite
• Game Day activities include, but are not limited to assisting season ticket holders with game day experiences, visiting with ticket holders during games, assisting with all issues, organizing ticket holder events, etc.
• Become an extension of the Dodgers brand through your representation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
• Must always present himself/herself a professional and respectful manner in and out of the office
• Acquiring new business while maximizing service, including referrals, via:
o Making an established number of business and consumer touch points per week (including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other avenues)
o Setting up face-to-face appointments with clients at Dodger Stadium and other off-site locations
o Executing season ticket holder related events
o Answer incoming inquiries
• Participate in various sales, team, and community events and social and civic activities
• Networking at outside events including business after-hours, clinics, talks, etc.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by direct report
Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
• Attend club sponsored charity events within the local community
• Assist with event planning and coordination of sales/services related events
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by direct report
Work Product:
• Retain Dodgers season ticket holders according to goals and establish strong relationships with all account stakeholders
Performance Measurements:
• Reach established monthly goals
• Reach established yearly goals
• Maintain high level of intangibles that align with the club's culture
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, Business or Sport Management preferred
• Minimum 3 years successful sales/service while exceeding required revenue requirements
• Sports experience with business side of professional, minor league, or college teams preferred
• Has shown the ability to be flexible, adaptable, coached while focused on improving personal craft. Demonstrated hard work, optimism, accountability, professionalism, and integrity
• Willingness to buck the status quo and accomplish unprecedented results, while striving to become the best in class in all of sports
• Must have own means of transportation to get to/from meetings outside the office and have the ability to work flexible hours including regular office hours in addition to frequent weeknights, weekends, and holidays
