Program Summary
LADF will conduct its 50/50 Raffle fundraising program at all 81 regular season home games and 1 pre-season game. Every game, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket from our 50/50 Raffle sellers located throughout all stadium levels. At the end of the sixth inning, all sales are completed and a winning ticket number will be announced during the 8th inning. The total jackpot for the night will be split 50/50 between the individual with the winning ticket and LADF. In 2018, LADF raised nearly $3.8 million through our 50/50 Raffle program. In the 2019 baseball season, we hope to continue to grow our 50/50 Raffle program.
Position
LADF is looking for high-energy motivated sellers who are reliable, organized and outgoing to serve on our 50/50 Raffle sales team for the 2018 baseball season. 35-40 positions are available, with 18-23 sellers scheduled per game. 40 individuals for our sales team. 50/50 Raffle Sellers will report to Director, Development and Communications with game-day management by Supervisor, In-Stadium Fundraising.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Approach fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 Raffle program
• Accurately handle the sale and distribution of the tickets, following program requirements
• Answer questions fans may have about the 50/50 Raffle program and LADF
• Turn in all balanced cash to 50/50 Raffle Program Coordinator at predetermined times
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Must be able to work the majority of the 2018 season (Candidates must have flexible schedule that allows them to work all home games, day or night, weekends and holidays if necessary.)
• Prior experience handling cash
• Ability to interact positively with large fan base
• Detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Above average verbal communication skills
• Highly interpersonal skills
• Strong sales skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation
• 7:10 p.m. First Pitch: Sellers must arrive at 4:45 p.m. and will be done during the middle of the 7th inning.
• 1:10 p.m. First Pitch: Sellers must arrive at 10:45 a.m. and will be done during the middle of the 7th inning.
• For other game times, like 6:10 p.m. or 5:10 p.m. or 12:10 p.m., sellers must arrive two and a half hours prior to first pitch.

• Working knowledge of LADF
All candidates must be available to work at least 65 of the 81 Dodger home games. Schedules will be set at LADF's sole discretion and may vary depending upon seller availability and performance. Sellers will be employed at-will and are not guaranteed any minimum number of hours or shifts. This paid position is a seasonal position through the end of the regular season on September 22nd with the potential for Postseason games in October.
