Job Summary
The player attendant position is critical for a successful game-night operation. In this role, you will work during LA Clippers home games at STAPLES Center to provide both the LA Clippers and visiting team players and staff with valued service. As Player Attendant, the LA Clippers expect you to remain professional at all times. You may not solicit inappropriate conversation, autographs, memorabilia, or anything else from any player or fan. A great Player Attendant will be punctual, have regular attendance, and be in proper team-issued attire.
You will report directly to the Assistant Equipment Manager. Duties begin three and half hours prior to the start of the game or as otherwise directed. Post game responsibilities include cleaning home and visitor locker rooms, and packing away equipment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare drink carts, towel bins, and hydrocollators and bring them to each bench
• Stock all fridges in both the home and visiting locker rooms
• Assist visiting equipment managers unload luggage and with locker room setup
• Assist visiting team with any pre-game, in-game, and post-game requests (i.e. – towels, food orders, ice bags, etc.)
• Log tickets for both the home and visiting teams and run tickets to will call
• Organize and maintain team bench during game play (i.e. player warm-ups, drinks, towels, etc.)
• Assist equipment managers with the washing, folding, and/or hanging of laundry
• Assist visiting team load equipment truck and/or bus after the game in order for a timely departure
• Clean and prepare locker room for the next game
• Assist equipment managers with any other duties assigned
