Overview
Guest Relations Attendants will be available in designated areas and stations within the ballpark to provide superior customer service for all fans of Angels Baseball and guests of Angel Stadium. These locations will include, but are not limited, to the Guest Relations Office, Satellite Kiosks, Entrance Gates and other stations or immediate locations within or around the ballpark as deemed necessary. Guest Relations Attendants are cross-trained, scheduled and rotated through each discipline listed below so as to ensure maximum customer service and that all fans, suite holders and guests' needs are fulfilled. This is a non-union position.
Duties
All Guest Relations Attendants must be friendly and attentive to the needs of the fans and guests. They must be able to address multiple guest concerns in a professional yet sympathetic manner, utilizing complaint forms when necessary. This position will be required to be aware of many facets involving baseball and the ballpark; including event schedules, food items available/location, merchandising locations, Security, First Aid, etc. All Guest Relations Attendants must have the ability and flexibility to work in all areas of Guest Relations.
Requirements:
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy with the public
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Calm under pressure, strong diplomacy skills
• Able to work flexible schedules; including continuous days (week days, evenings, weekends and holidays) Also must have the ability to work all non-baseball events and MLB exhibition, regular and post season games played at Angel Stadium of Anaheim
• Bilingual preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Patient and observant
• Some physical activity and ability to lift and carry and push product, strollers, wheelchairs, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Ability to push guests in wheelchairs weighing up to over 100lbs frequently.
