Receptionist and Office Coordinator
Local Hero Post is a filmmaker-centric boutique post house that specializes in Digital Intermediate for feature films. We specialize in getting the most professional quality image out of today's digital cinema cameras using Raw codec formats with end-to-end color management. Our services cover everything from on-set dailies and editorial systems, through conform, color, visual effects, mastering and deliverables.
The Receptionist will help maintain a comfortable and relaxing environment for incoming clients and employees, answer phone calls and keep main client area clean and ready for use, and run errands and order supplies when needed. The position supports the Sales team, DI Producer & Admin Manager and general management of the facility.
Receptionist/ Office Coordinator Job Duties Include:
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges.
Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
Maintains safe and clean reception and kitchen area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Creates comfortable atmosphere for clients to relax in lounge area as well as kitchen area. Provides prepared snacks, drinks, and coffee for clients and staff.
In charge of all outgoing and incoming mail/fedex; handling courier services.
Sends out lunch orders if requested, runs errands, preps rooms for clients, and possible research.
Working closely with staff, to order and maintain supplies based on operating needs by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations as necessary.
Provide high level administrative duties;
Performs routine electronic scanning, indexing, copying and filing; along with editing, proofreading, copying and formatting documents;

Requirements:
3+ years experience in customer service related positions with a mindset of working in the film industry
Answering phones and constructing emails for a professional Boutique Business
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with clients regularly and maintain excellent working relationships.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
VERY organized with email, client details, sales information
Strong communication skills and ability to work out a problem
Strong desire to maintain a clean and comfortable atmosphere with a mindset for new ideas in creating a fun and outgoing workplace
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Resourceful and flexible with sound judgment and integrity.
Must be a team player who can work with the needs of other operators at the facility
Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn.
