Lisa Long Adler Communications (LLAC) is a New York City-based public relations and marketing company specializing in comprehensive communication campaigns for clients in the hospitality, food & beverage and entertainment industries. We are seeing an executive assistant with at least 1-2 years office experience (including internships).
Ideal candidates for this position will have a strong understanding of the entertainment industry and vast knowledge of pop culture trends and happenings. They will be familiar with the field of public relations and marketing with a focus on entertainment, nightlife, and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Handling phones, organizing travel and schedules
- Preparing weekly meeting agendas and client reports
- Monitor for print, online, broadcast and social media coverage for clients
- Preparing press clippings and reports
- Writing and editing press releases, pitches, and media alerts
- Researching media coverage and industry trends
- Working red carpet/celebrity driven events as needed
- Regularly develop and maintain media contact lists and databases
- Writing for social media
Qualifications:
- Must have strong written, verbal and organizational skills
- Must have prior knowledge/experience in public relations/marketing fields
- Must be team oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be computer and social media savvy with knowledge of various programs including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.com, Cision and all social media outlets
- BA/BS from an accredited University or College
