Intern - Theatrical Marketing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Theatrical Marketing Internship: This internship is designed to provide interested college students with hands-on experience in Theatrical Marketing. Because today’s students may be tomorrow’s leaders, our desire is to provide these individuals with a meaningful and educational experience. Lionsgate is looking for a college student with an interest in theatrical marketing to start immediately. The intern will gain exposure to marketing and publicity for Lionsgate’s theatrical releases. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in marketing and would like to understand the process of how a campaign develops and is carried through.

Qualifications:

1. Undergraduate Student
2. Prior internship experience – understanding of industry phone protocol and rolling calls is a plus, though not required initially (can be taught)
3. Some knowledge of political landscape and of key players in the town.
4. ABLE TO MULTITASK (very important)
5. Detail oriented and can take direction well.
6. Availability at least two days a week, for 8-9 hours each day. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday preferred but definitely flexible)
7. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop a plus
