Search for Coordinator, Content Operations & Strategy jobs in Santa Monica-CA
Summary of Position:
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an Operations Coordinator in the Content Operations & Strategy group. As a member of the staff, you are expected to serve an operational role liaising with all segments of business including Sales, Marketing, Product Fulfillment, Finance, Information Technology and Legal.
Responsibilities:
- Avails lifecycle management of catalog and new release content from varying grantors and distribution libraries
- Familiarity with Lionsgate contractual terms and with their application to internal pricing policies, revenue models, and release strategies
- Assist with design, implementation, and management of digital supply chain efficiency systems relating to worldwide distribution in EST,
VOD, SVOD/AVOD, and Non-Theatrical lines of business
- Source additional content availabilities through library and rights management research
- Monitor, analyze, and summarize key quantitative performance metrics, and apply lessons learned as applicable to Lionsgate
procedures
- Pinpoint and eliminate bottlenecks in digital supply chain
- Track and ensure delivery of digital assets
- Successfully engage with varying levels of management at Lionsgate and various industry partners
- Immersion in the rapidly evolving digital landscape to identify and adopt new industry best practices
- Other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Experience & Skills:
- Prior experience in content operations, distribution services and/or technical and product integration within the entertainment industry
required (film/TV preferred)
- Cable, satellite, digital and non-theatrical experience / relationships strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, with an advanced skill set in Excel (macros / VBA, formulas, and pivot tables)
- Ability to juggle competing priorities, think strategically, and translate those thoughts into action plans
- Upbeat personality, passion for learning, and aptitude for solving problems
- Extremely proactive and embracing of an entrepreneurial environment
- General interest in supply chain automation and data management
Experience with SQL, Microsoft Access, FileMaker, and SaaS systems a plus
