Seeking a Literary Assistant to support two Literary Managers at a management company based in West LA. One of the Managers is a Partner who does both management and production.
Responsibilities include:
- Rolling a high volume of calls
- Managing calendars
- Updating phone sheets
- Arranging calls and meetings
- Reading/providing coverage on incoming scripts, submissions, and client material
- Assisting with writing blurbs and copy for client material
- Drafting submission emails and tracking submissions
- Conducting research and putting together grids
- Organizing and submitting expense reports
- Organizing, prioritizing, and appropriately handling time-sensitive, confidential information in a timely manner
Requirements include:
Not a starter desk - 1-2 years of agency/management experience preferred
Candidates should be able to multi-task, handle a heavy volume of calls, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Knowledge of InEntertainment and familiarity with major film/TV players preferred
