Job Scope: Evening Operations
Increase the management presence into the evening of Light Iron's Los Angeles facility. Manage each evenings facility and operation's needs. Ensure sessions, projects, and clients are managed into the evening hours. Strong receiving and handoff skills with the Operations, Scheduling and Production Teams.
Key Tasks:
• Oversight of evening vault, security, client services, machine room, engineering, artistic and production activities
• Support production teams with making changes to schedule and resource requests
• Work with operations leadership to devise and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency and scale
• Contribute to the development of products to support operational needs
• Report daily projects and feedback including immediate notification for any emergency needs
• Provide leadership and mentoring to evening staff to meet or exceed goals
• Communicate with company management regarding overall needs and ideas for changes
• Actively review for scheduling conflicts and propose solutions
• Act as a contact for customers who need to engage with a senior-level person
• Daily room check and communicate any items that need adjustment
Skills/Experience Required:
• College degree or Certificate in Business, Finance, Post Production, or equivalent
• Managerial and leadership experience, with ability to delegate
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities; comfortable making decisions to ensure project success
• Effective communicator (verbal and written) with internal and external customers
• Extremely organized and maintains strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure with strict time constraints
• Willing to adapt to the changing needs of the company
Preferred Qualifications:
• Management of Operations or Production within a Post Production finish business
• 5+ year post production industry experience and related working practices
• Strong working relationships with internal teams
• Understand company infrastructure and how to leverage available resources
• Willingness to work on a collaborative team in a fast-paced, growing environment
