Temporary Freelance Conform Artist
The role of our Temporary Freelance Conform Artist will be to work with our Producers, Colorists, and Engineers to support a custom workflow tailored to the needs of our clients. This position may require flexible hours in order to accommodate the individual needs of each project. A qualified applicant will be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised as well as comfortable in supervised sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide conforming and editorial support to the Senior Editors and Colorists
• Conform episodic length and feature length projects from original camera negative (file based)
• Review and ensure that all elements meet technical specifications
• Create opticals as required
• Work closely with our in house producers and colorists to meet deadlines and complete work orders accurately. Turn over completed product to the next level in the workflow for delivery.
• Communicate effectively on progress
Skills/Experience Required:
• A complete understanding of file based work flows, color space, and codecs
• DaVinci Resolve, Autodesk Flame and Filmlight Baselight a plus.
• At least 5 years experience in a post production environment
