THIS POSITION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT AN ACCREDITED UNDERGRAD UNIVERSITY WITH AN EMPHASIS IN FILM AND TV PRODUCTION OR SIMILAR MAJOR AND ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT UPON COMPLETION OF INTERNSHIP.
STUDENTS WHO HAVE GRADUATED WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Lifeboat Productions is searching for hardworking interns to work at a busy television and film company. Interns at our company get first-hand experience on how a production company functions and are able to assist on various projects with our production team. Our ideal candidates are students that are studying film, production, entertainment or have an interest in the film industry with a relatable major and want to work in the industry.
As a Lifeboat intern, you will work alongside our in-house production coordinator and producer's assistant. You will also have the opportunity to sit at the front desk and welcome guests as well as interact with our many clients, actors, vendors, filmmakers, and colleagues visiting the company. Candidates that are hardworking with a positive attitude and sociable disposition will thrive here. As this internship is non-paid, interns must be able to receive college credit and is required to have a car with appropriate insurance. *on-the-job mileage is reimbursed at end of internship term
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Answering phones, door, and welcoming guests
-Going on productions runs for office team
-Organizing office space
-Assisting producers with specific research projects
-Scanning production binders
-Helping on-set during production (if applicable)
-Composing a practice pitch based off one of our current scripts in development
