Leading Audio Post Production facility looking for immediate *SENIOR* MACHINE ROOM OPERATOR/ STUDIO ASSISTANT.
This position demands the wearing of many hats. Must be more than capable to handle the following tasks under pressure:
- audio laybacks
- dolby encoding
- audio conforming
- digitizing picture
- video dubs/clones
- audio and video QC
- signal patching/routing
- daily archiving and backups
- label printing
- Protools system maintenance (updating/installing software)
- managing FTP accounts and traffic
- network troubleshooting and maintenance
- monitoring ISDN transmissions
- light dialog and fx editorial
- help with admin tasks
- engineer assisting
- occasional runner duties, etc.
Job Requirements:
Applicant must have an incredible attention to detail, be very organized, a quick learner, and have the energetic personality to fit into a fun but often hectic environment.
Must have technical experience with all major HD and SD video decks as well as vast knowledge of Digidesign Protools and Mac maintenance
Must have flexible hours and understand the ''nature'' of the Post industry.
***ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE PREVIOUS AUDIO/VIDEO POST PRODUCTION MACHINE ROOM EXPERIENCE***
