Hourly Pay Rate: $18.50

Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. The program also features guest speaker events with industry experts, networking opportunities with professionals and fellow interns, and exclusive perks such as company outings, team-building activities, and access to film and media screenings.

Summary

Legendary is looking for an intern for the summer program that will help drive AI activities across the organization through experiments and proofs of concept that address critical business needs and improve user productivity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for GenAI and the surrounding ecosystem, have a solid understanding of the methodologies that can be used to interact with various LLM's, and may have already built or designed AI applications for personal use. This position will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Technology. In addition, the intern will work closely with the executives and members of the team.

Responsibilities
• Support the creation of AI projects / applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Work closely with the technology team to implement solutions for various AI / automation projects to support Legendary business.
• Collaborate with business users on understanding the value of AI and how it can be incorporated into daily work patterns.
• Document the maintenance and use of any projects that are developed.
• Capture and organize existing pain points that could be alleviated via the implementation of AI and automation projects.
• Support special projects as needed.

Requirements
• Must be enrolled as a graduate student in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Fall/Spring) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
• Pursuing a MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
• A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Software development skills with solid experience in C and Python
• Knowledge / experience with automation tools like Make, Zapier, UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Blue Prism, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge / experience in machine learning, natural language processing, or generative AI, with strong interest in media and entertainment applications
