Location: Burbank, CA - Hybrid
Reporting To: EVP, Production Finance – Television

Summary
Legendary Entertainment is seeking a Rights Management Administrator for its Television-related contracts and rights. This position works to verify the rights of the use of material owned or created by third parties including talent, stock music, scripts, mechanicals, photos or other copyrighted materials. This role also researches, reviews, and revises rights, clearances, holdbacks, and other restrictions and/or contractual obligations for applicable markets and platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with the management of rights and maintenance of a newly implemented database.
Responsibilities
• Populate data into and maintain FilmTrack rights database consistently monitoring rights, and deal terms, to ensure the data environment is accurate and complete.
• Monitoring and updating the FilmTrack database for inactive or expired titles.
• Querying FilmTrack database for various development, production and rights availability reports.
• Liaison with the Technology team to suggest, evaluate and implement improvements to FilmTrack functionality and utility.
• Perform special tasks and assignments as required.
Experience & Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Contract administration and abstracting experience required
• Familiarity with television development, production and/or distribution contracts
• Ability to interface productively with stakeholders at all levels and functions of the Company
• Must be detail-oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively, while effectively meeting deadlines
• Ability to identify, and ask questions to resolve, ambiguity, and prioritize disparate requests
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills and a relentless drive to find efficiencies
• Familiarity with FilmTrack, or other rights management software, preferred
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, is ideal

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $50k to $65k. This range (amount) does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. Total rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Legendary Entertainment also provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, employee wellness programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, year-round paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, market demands and indicators, specific and unique skills or training, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The hiring salary range (amount) for this position applies to New York City and California.
