Position Overview:
Legendary is looking for an experienced Network Administrator to lead the management and administration of corporate networks, telecommunications, and Internet services. This position will architect, document, deploy, maintain, and monitor both the operational and security services related to enterprise networks, telephone / video communications, wireless, and digital content delivery. Secondary responsibilities include network and security log analysis, security assessments, and network security administration.
Responsibilities:
• Architect, implement, configure, and support all enterprise network and communication systems.
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and perform emergency and scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain, monitor, and ensure daily operation of voice, video and data services. Ensure all other applicable devices and applications are properly configured, utilized and maintained with latest firmware/software revisions.
• Use a variety of software/hardware monitoring/diagnostic tools and respond to alarms, degradation, and failures by diagnosing and then initiating recovery process.
• In coordination with the security team, perform network security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing
• Improve network and security design by performing router scripting and filtering to identify/manage network bottlenecks and changing network traffic.
• Manage all WiFi and wireless carrier infrastructure
• Clearly communicate and coordinate with appropriate personnel in advance of any issues, changes, network upgrades and/or maintenance which may affect operations. This includes enterprise impacting upgrades, microcode changes, new equipment deployments, and sun-setting legacy hardware/software.
• Benchmark, evaluate and make recommendations for the selection of network management software and hardware products.
• Document, respond to, resolve and follow up on reported issues through the trouble ticketing system.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, network diagrams, standards, technical specifications, and test plans.
• Provide technical and IT troubleshooting/fixes for all production related systems, switches, firewalls, and storage.
• Help lead projects for production IT system installs and integration.
• Provide infrastructure and facility support and guidance for productions in house as well as on location
• Keep the Information Technology staff and customers informed of the status and resolution of issues; updates the Service Desk software with resolutions and status.
• Develop and participate in incident response, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity practices for enterprise network and communication systems.

Experience & Skills:
• 5 years demonstrated education, training and experience
• Familiarity with network technologies and products from Cisco, Palo Alto, and Airista
• Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure setups, switches, routers, firewalls, servers, VPN, and internet/intranet security architecture and applications
• Strong knowledge and experience supporting remote offices utilizing T1 and MPLS technologies
• Strong knowledge and experience with data replication, load balancing, LAN/WAN acceleration, and bandwidth optimization appliances and technologies
• Strong troubleshooting skills for computer workstations, network issues, and storage (NAS, Object Store, Cloud, NFS, SMB, etc.)
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of traffic theory, communications systems, network management, network security, network analysis, and design
• Experience with implementing and supporting PBX, VOIP, voicemail, wireless phone integration, data networking equipment, cabling management and support
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong, demonstrable interest in the media and entertainment industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Project management capabilities, working in deadline-driven environment
• Ability to prioritize requests and manage time
