Position Overview:
Legendary Entertainment is looking for an HR Generalist to support the HR team. The HR Generalist would have experience in program and project management, recruitment, benefits, compensation, and communications. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and be ready to roll up their sleeves with the team.
Responsibilities:
• Support and manage key aspects of the Internship Program process from sourcing, to pipeline management, to offer negotiation and closing; Creatively source candidates from multiple channels including referrals, research, active and passive sourcing; Regularly meet with hiring managers to keep searches on track; coordinate events, meetings, seminars; process offboarding and ongoing communications.
• Support the company's recruiting and hiring functions, including sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, hosting virtual/onsite interviews, and creating a memorable candidate experience.
• Draft and communicate companywide emails to inform employees of key dates, events and policies. Monitor and update company intranet and recruitment social media platforms.
• Manage the collection and documentation of new hire paperwork; Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires; Continually monitor feedback from new hires and hiring managers to iterate and improve onboarding processes.
• Facilitate the offboarding process; coordinate exit logistics with all stakeholders, set up exit interviews.
• Provide HR administration support and execute HR programs such as benefits, leaves of absence, and learning & development.
• Assist with managing ad hoc short term/long term projects
• Provide compliance support by remaining knowledgeable in the areas federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Respond to all questions regarding benefits, systems, company programs and policies.
• Support HR team with General HR duties and miscellaneous projects as needed
Experience & Skills:
• Knowledge of compensation, benefits, recruiting, internship programs
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, exercise judgement, and escalate complex issues
• Experience in project management
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Qualifications:
• BA or BS from an accredited college or university required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Industry experience preferred
