Position Summary:
Assist the Traffic Manager in managing and maximizing spot inventory for stations two weeks out, while ensuring accuracy in spot schedules, on the daily broadcast logs. Assist in daily log reconciliation. Order entry of commercial contracts and material in OSI Traffic System, new orders/revision, maintain paid programming grids, and assist in contract copy. Will cross train for backup of other areas of traffic and continuity. Communicate with various departments @ LBI Media.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills. Must be self-motivated and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to execute tasks with high degree of accuracy under tight time constraints and highly organized with great attention to detail. Work well as a team, independently and other departments, staff, advertisers and agencies. Excellent computer skills.
Requirements:
The position requires OSI experience, strict attention to details and accuracy, and the ability to meet and work in deadline. They must be self-motivated, creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and to be cooperative and productive. In addition, the right candidate must have:
Eligibility Requirement:
TV broadcast traffic and/or agency (2) year experience.
College Degree in related field preferred, but not necessary.
Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Bilingual: English/Spanish (a plus)
