{LHC} Lauren Hurley Creative -- a marketing, PR, events and creative firm based in Los Angeles -- has an immediate opening for a part-time PR & Events Intern (10-12 hours per week + events). This is a Summer 2019 Internship, starting ASAP through August 30th.
Lauren Hurley is a 13-year marketing veteran of the entertainment, fashion, automotive, technology and luxury lifestyle industries, who has worked with such clients as Netflix, Calvin Klein, Lexus, Audi, Microsoft and American Express.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The {LHC} PR & Events Intern will be an integral member of a growing team, playing a critical role in public relations account management and onsite event logistics for high-profile entertainment and lifestyle events. The {LHC} PR & Events Intern will play a key role in office administration related to PR and event tasks, marketing initiatives and creative projects. This position requires 10-12 hours hours per week of in-office and virtual work; event days are mandatory and will call for extra hours on-location sometimes on weekends. Position is offered for school credit, portfolio clips and references. Candidates must be current students.

... Ability to stay humble and admit mistakes when necessary is critical; honesty is a must, as well as tact and good etiquette
... Discretion, privacy and willingness to sign non-disclosure agreements as needed to maintain strict client confidentiality

... Prior event planning experience in school, sororities or similar organizations
... Experience working with VIP's and providing excellent client service/hospitality
... Ability to work independently (i.e. make things happen on your own), but also be a team-player (i.e. gets along with pretty much everyone)
... Proficiency with all Google Drive applications, especially Sheets and Slides
... Graphic design skills are a plus+
... Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
... Must be at least 21 years of age
... Junior-level and Senior-level undergraduate (class of 2020 and class of 2019) preferred
