JOB DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE: As our Production Designer, or ''Draftsperson'', you will contribute to the growth and success of the Company through quality and timely execution of one's work. The vital function of your job is to create event designs in VectorWorks and Photoshop, as well as maintain logistics of the creative process. Please note weekly schedule will be communicated and designated by the Creative Director.
JOB DUTIES:
+Create event designs in Vectorworks and Photoshop within company standards and quality.
+Contribute and oversee the design of set piece, prototypes, and special projects.
+Communicate daily with the Creative Director.
+Communicate with Project Coordinators about design logistics and execution.
+Update logistics and progress in project management software.
+Continually develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills.
+Be a positive influence daily.
+Complete assigned duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
+Create the best experience for all who ''walk'' through the doors of our Company, whether that is via phone, email, or in-person. Be a representative of the company and our core values whether interacting with clients, guests and staff, or through one's work for the Company.
+Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
+Anticipate critical needs of the team and be proactive
+All other items deemed necessary.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATION:
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-CADD - basic understanding (ie. Sketchup, vectorworks, MA3D)
-Photoshop - basic understanding
-Acrobat - basic understanding
-Has a good knowledge of Adobe products, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Lightroom.
-Must have prior production/industry knowledge in music/entertainment industry and/or basic understanding of audio, video, and lighting equipment to be able to draft into designs.
-Computer skills: knowledge of Internet software; Email; PC and Apple Operating Systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Possess the ability to learn any other software deemed necessary for the job.
OTHER IMPORTANT SKILLS: Skilled Communicator, Must be Self-Motivated and Independent while still maintaining a Team-Player mindset, Ability to Quickly Learn New Technology, Managing Processes, Analyzing Information, Good Judgment, Easy to work with and has a good attitude for Teamwork, Adaptability, Professionalism, and an enthusiasm for the job.

Status: Part-time Seasonal, hourly, non-exempt
Hours Per Day: Approx 7; typically 9am - 5pm
Hours Per Week: up to 28 hrs/wk TBD by Creative Director
