On-Site / Live Event Production Manager
We are seeking seasoned live event production managers who have worked on large scale events, preferably one-day events with thousands of attendees. Candidates must be extremely organized, proactive, willing to take initiative, ambitious and detail oriented. The duration of the position is ASAP - January 2022.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as point of contact on event day (December 26, 2021) and for registration in the days leading up
- Implement/organize Kick Off Ceremony details including, set up, breakdown and run of show elements
- Work closely with event founders to improve event experience and equality through creative thinking with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Help manage the seamless execution of live event logistics, management and creative elements.
- Oversee key support staff on event day, including assigning individual responsibilities.
- Consider feedback from multiple sources and present thoughtful solutions with a strong point of view.
- Aid in providing solutions to enhance participants' experience.
- Lead clear and consistent communication and coordination between team members internally and externally
- Work cross-functionally (internally and externally) to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day in order to successfully meet expectations and project goals
- Translate creative ideas into project plans and deliverables.
Who You Are:
- Seasoned large-scale (several thousand) live event producer
- Experience working in festivals/marathons/parades a plus
- Proactive, thoughtful and creative thinker with a knack for problem solving
- A player we can count on: Always organized so you can move fast with us and willing to put in the extra time and effort with the team on projects when needed
- Someone who makes others' lives easier: When something goes wrong, you can figure out a way to solve it with the team and get the job done
- ''Sit down, be humble'' outlook: Fervid desire to learn and ability to receive feedback while maintaining a great attitude so we can ALL improve.
- Thrives in a fast paced environment, is resourceful, self-motivated, extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Has excellent communication skills.
