The Camera Robotics Operator's (or Robo Op) primary responsibility is to run KTLA's robotic cameras during the various news shows ensuring the cameras are on the correct shots as called for in the show rundown and the director as well as ensuring the cameras are properly shaded. This entails but is not limited to recalling preset shots, adjusting preset shot, executing an on air zoom on the camera, and manually moving a camera to get a shot. The Robo Operator must be able to: take the robotic pedestals into and out of robotic mode; enable and target the pedestals; recall and/or build a show and preset shots with in a show; and be able to resolve any minor issues.
