The Research Analyst responsibilities include the evaluation & analysis of Nielsen, ComScore and Scarborough data reports to effectively position the station maximum value.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Development of sales tools related to program schedules, ratings estimates, post-analysis, specials, regular programming, digital and multi-cast assets.
• The creation of sales one-sheets and sales presentations.
• Responsible for programming, promotions and corporate projects best positioning qualitative and quantitative research.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Thinks strategically and acts tactically.
• Analyzes issues thoroughly to make sound business decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Takes initiative and makes decisions without daily guidance.
• Works in a fast-paced environment; handles multiple challenges simultaneously.
• Effectively communicates with others; presents ideas, facts and technical information clearly.
• Ability to develop and communicate effective and persuasive sales related presentations.
• Must be proficient in Nielsen products including NLTV, Arianna, & Prime Lingo, WideOrbit, and Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint & Excel. Experience with SQAD, Comscore, Nielsen eNames & Grabix, or similar systems also highly desired.
• Requirements include at least 2 years of research experience with a mid-market television station and exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills. College degree preferred.
