The Studios within Known creates award-winning commercial campaigns across TV, Social, Digital, Print & OOH platforms.
We're looking for a Producer to support the Entertainment Marketing & Design team within A/V post production. This role will create calendars and deal memos, track all project costs, and oversee personnel scheduling/resource allocation, all with the goal of delivering projects within each of their approved budgets. This role will work closely and communicate often with the Exec Producer, and other departments and decision makers.
The Producer will work closely with Creative Directors in the production of projects through the collection of assets, collating information, overseeing on-going projects, communicating with clients and managing the final delivery of assets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an entertainment-related field or equivalent industry experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail is paramount.
Relevant project management experience and have previous experience managing budgets.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Looking for someone with a flexible mindset who can switch gears quickly and reprioritize projects on the fly in order to meet shifting deadlines, while communicating efficiently throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Familiarity with the workflow of current production and post-production process.
Strong work ethic, self-starter, takes initiative with a positive attitude and can collaborate with a team.
Excellent people and problem-solving skills. Must be able to give and receive constructive criticism in a positive manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Must be Mac proficient.
Experience in ERP a plus.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Assist creative directors on all project needs.
Manage budgets and track costs on multiple projects through our budget template.
Create project calendars, deal memos and help shepherd SOWs and Agreements through the legal process.
Report when the budget for a project can be invoiced to the Director of Planning & Budgeting and the Finance Department.
Add new projects, or additional budgets, to existing projects via New Sales Report.
Ensure that all employees assigned to your projects are being accounted for on any given job you're overseeing.
Track Music and VO costs and agreements.
Schedule internal staff and resources.
Assist producers in communication with clients.
Flag when a project is potentially going over budget, target potential scope creep, be able to identify when a job is going beyond deadline and an additional budget may be required.
Coordinate client asset acquisition.
Coordinate client deliveries.
Coordinate and disseminate information between departments.
