DESCRIPTION:
Klein Creative Media is on the search for a trainee that will eventually step into the role of Production Coordinator. Our current coordinator plans to move on sometime in the near future and we want to assure that there will be someone prepared to take his place. At the moment, we're looking at 5 hours weekly, paid at minimum wage, that will eventually grow into a part-time position of 20 hours per week. This job is perfect for recent graduates looking to build their resume and gain hands-on experience in a video production company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You must be comfortable wearing more than one hat. This is not the kind of position where you're only responsible for certain tasks. Responsibilities vary from running the intern program and assisting on set, to filling out government paperwork and liaising with clients and crew. The bulk of your workload will fall under pre-production (call sheets, DGA paperwork, permits, contracts, estimates, newsletters, etc.) but you must be prepared to take on assignments you may not be as experienced in.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate is a South Bay local with experience in video production and a STRONG background in administrative work. They're organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and a self-starter with a positive attitude.
