The Coordinator of Programming & Development is directly involved in ensuring a smooth operation across all Kin projects. This role sits at the center of all departments (production, programming, sales, post) and is tracking deadlines and deliverables across each of our shows. While the role is primarily responsible for logistics and project management, creative writing chops are also a plus, as the coordinator will also support the development team on any creative needs that may arise. This includes participating in brainstorming sessions for upcoming pitches and current series, assisting with writing and creating pitch materials, and maintaining our development pipeline. Applicants should have a passion for creating lifestyle content for diverse female audiences, which is the core of what we do at Kin. We are a digital-first company, so familiarity with digital platforms and workflow is also essential.
Responsibilities:
Assist with management of process checklists, staying in constant communication with appropriate teams to ensure seamless handoffs between departments
Serve as a central clearing house for all requests and questions regarding all Kin projects
Communicate directly with talent and EPs to problem solve any issues that may arise
Work closely with production and post production to ensure that all boxes are checked prior to a shoot, and before each episode launches. This includes but is not limited to: assisting with talent communication regarding appearance and materials releases, communicating any ''out of the ordinary'' production requirements, making sure that EPs are prepped with all necessary documentation and materials, etc.
As needed, assist the development team with: writing and creating pitch materials, creative brainstorming, talent sourcing
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced media environment
Experience working with on-camera talent (preferred)
Familiarity with Monday.com (not essential, but a plus!)
Who You Are:
A team player, willing to assist cross functional departments as needed
A doer, inspiring those around you to get things done
Calm, cool & collected during stressful times
Positive, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills
Clear communicator, both written and verbally with clients and internal teams
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Knowledgeable of the digital/social media and branded content landscape
Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer:
