Job Description: KIDZ BOP, the best-selling children’s music and Internet brand, seeks a seasoned and multi-faceted marketing and business development professional. Candidates should be highly-motivated and creative with established contacts. This individual will be a key team member in brainstorming, strategy, creative decision-making, and timely execution of projects and programs. Primary responsibilities will include driving revenue for the Kidz Bop platform and establishing business partnerships.
Specifically this individual will be:
■ A strategic generalist. Equally comfortable seeking out new partnerships or closing deals with existing media entities.
■ Knowledgeable about new media, can think outside the box and is not hamstrung by “old media” views on how to get results.
■ Results-oriented execution person. Gets the job done with minimal direction or supervision. A revenue generator.
■ Able to provide a strong established network of strategic contacts.
Position Requirements:
■ 5 + years experience in a strategic marketing role.
■ Strong ideation, writing and communication skills.
■ Proven success in initiating and maintaining partnerships; experienced negotiator and closer.
■ Advanced project management skills, including handling multiple opportunities simultaneously, analyzing data, traffic and inventory, setting and meeting goals, time management, problem solving and decision-making.
■ Relationships with advertisers in kids' space a plus.
■ Self-motivated, ability to work independently but take direction when required, results-driven, responsible and gets along easily with others.
