The Candidate We Are Seeking:
As a Recruiter, you will support our Pre-production, Production, and Post-production teams by owning the entire recruiting process from beginning to end while creating a positive candidate experience throughout. You'll spend your time engaging with top talent in the entertainment industry and getting them excited about the work we do. Please note that this role is a 6 month project hire with a potential opportunity to continue with the company at the end of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process while ensuring a superior candidate experience
- Effectively and passionately sell the production company's brand and numerous creative opportunities to top talent
- Work closely with our Executive Producers and department managers to thoroughly understand the production company's needs
- Develop creative recruiting strategies to source, attract, and retain top creative talent to fill those needs
- Design enticing job postings to attract the strongest talent
- Review candidate applications and process them in a timely manner
- Conduct screening calls and interviews with the candidates
- Collect application and interview information to help managers make hiring decisions
- Stay up to date on recruiting trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for companies and/or agencies in the entertainment industry such as production companies, media companies, ad agencies, etc
- Experience using social media tools for sourcing such as Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
- Experience creating sourcing strategies, writing job descriptions, and interviewing candidates
- Ability to strongly pitch the company and it's exciting production opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess a positive personality and excellent interpersonal skills
- High curiosity about what productions need to create entertaining content, allowing you to be effective in supporting a growing production company
