Job Overview
The HR Coordinator is responsible for various administrative duties and responsibilities within the HR Department. This position will report directly to the HR Manager and will provide administrative support for HR functions including: recruitment, benefits, labor relations, employee engagement, and training and development.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule interviews for all PMGSC recruitment
• Maintain all manual and electronic PMGSC employee files
• Prepare new hire documents for onboarding
• Schedule item pick/up and drop/off for new hires, interns, and departing staff
• Schedule exit interviews for interns and departing staff
• Issue monthly birthday and anniversary acknowledgement
• Assist with the coordination and execution of employee engagement events
• Update and distribute monthly staff directory
• Coordinate company trainings and distribute accompanying notices and acknowledgements
• Draft and issue payroll, benefit, and labor notices
• Manage the verification of employment process
• Assist with the implementation of safety protocols and practices
• Oversee the office visit request process
• Assist with annual filing and benefit audits
• Assist the HR and Operations departments with special projects
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of HR coordinator or office assistant experience
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Time management skills with proved ability to meet deadlines
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
