Job Description/Responsibilities: Denver's best Spanish-language Radio stations are currently seeking a Full Time Promotions Assistant to join our team. This position requires a fully bi-lingual individual who is energetic, possesses the ability to multi-task, and is pro-active with their assigned duties in the Promotions Department. Candidates should be eager to learn and take on responsibilities and be accountable for their outcomes. Individuals should be outgoing and professional as the position consists of interactions between departments at our Denver affiliates as well as contact with clients and listeners through local remotes and events. Responsibilities consist of tasks such as assisting in local spot production of promotional announcements and or script writing, assisting talent for live local remotes/events with setup and tear down of tents, distribution of prizes to listeners, interaction with other promotions departments to help with events.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: The position requires people who possess some computer skills with a Windows PC environment including MS Office, a reliable self-starter who learns quickly and has good communication skills, and a high level of organization and time management skills with attention to detail. Should be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to work on and manage several projects at once under deadlines. Bilingual English/Spanish required. They must have a current valid Colorado driver's license and have the availability to work weekends, nights and holidays. Well-qualified candidates should also have some experience with Television Production, as this position will assist in the following areas as needed 1 day per week: Videography, commercial editing, conceptualizing commercial content, and field and/or studio production. Software experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Audition. Candidate should also have an understanding or skills in using video cameras, TV lighting and video equipment. The most important requirement is that you must be a hard worker who is passionate about the culture, music on our stations and our artists.
