Job Title: Master Control Supervisor
Job Description/Responsibilities:
The MC Operator's primary responsibility is playback of all digitized and live show elements for our Colorado Television operations. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying commercial playback logs, inserting commercial breaks in conjunction with log requirements, note all air discrepancies. Loading program and commercial files, managing break content, timing recorded programming, and overseeing outgoing signal for content and quality. Candidates will be required to learn new technologies as they are implemented in the department. Duties also include news operation, pre and post on-air production and other responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisor Description/Responsibilities:
Training new personal. Scheduling staff to cover required shifts for Air. Working with
other Departments to resolve issues. Writing up new procedures and manuals for staff to follow. Logging in from home to fix on air issues when needed. Covering vacation or sick time when needed. Filling out Eas Logs as per FCC regulations and verifying Transmitter operations as per FCC guidelines.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) and technical TV experience helpful but not required. Must be able to work weekends & over nights as this position will require both. Must be focused and possess the ability to handle several tasks at once and this position will be monitoring several markets (outside of Denver) during their shift. Applicant must be open to new ideas, new technology and production methods and have a solid work ethic and a positive approach to the job. Flexible and open to changes to daily operations as required by new technology.
