Full Time Job
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting in managing the daily operations within the ticket office including, but not limited to, general ticket selling, game-day duties, customer satisfaction issues, and sales and services support. All seasonal and part-time associates within the office will be under the direction of this position.
Accountabilities:
• Oversee part-time advance ticket sellers. Address ticket seller problems and special needs. Maintain ticket seller manuals including general practices and special promotions and discounts.
• Work closely with part-time Ticket Seller Supervisors with scheduling event ticket sellers. Assist with recruiting and training of ticket sellers.
• Work closely with Sales and Service departments addressing customer service needs.
• Assist season ticket processing – process payments, update account records, make seat location changes, distribution, etc.
• Process and reconcile all corporate sponsors and other contractual tickets.
• Communicate and work closely with all departments to fulfill their ticketing and reporting needs.
• Assist with reconciliation of all comp requests by creating and maintaining backup for all requests.
• Assist with the setup and review of all ticket sales initiatives.
• Responsible for game-day duties including opening and closing ticket office, provide support to ticket sellers and customer service associate.
• Assist with providing support for ticket outlets (Hy-Vee stores) including answering questions, system support, and processing returns.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and instill best customer service practices to all part time ticketing personnel.
• Generate reports on all ticket sales regularly and provide them to senior management.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• A minimum of two years' work experience in ticket operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advance knowledge of computerized ticket sales, preferably the Tickets.com ProVenue system.
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective written communication, customer service and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and develop/maintain procedures relating to Ticket Operations.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
• Consistent, punctual and regular attendance.
• Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings and weekends.
