Position Summary
JYP USA is looking for an experienced, hard-working HR head to help us keep growing! You will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the hiring process, establishing the HR structure at our company, and oversee employee payroll and benefits.

'Think Brilliant,' 'Act Efficient,' 'How Can I Improve the System?' and 'Leader in Entertainment' are the values taught and recognized by the talents of JYPE. With the lead of Park Jin Young as Asia's most prominent producer in the industry, JYPE has discovered and produced some of the most successful K-pop artists. Earlier artists include Rain, Wonder Girls, and miss A, while popular current artists such as TWICE, Stray Kids, and ITZY who represent K-pop.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Curate and oversee the employee onboarding and offboarding process, vacation time, payroll & benefits, etc
- Establish HR structure and atmosphere of the company
- Find the right talented fit for each position
- Closely work with the CEO to set long-term vision and points of motivation in HR perspectives
- Oversee and manage the recruitment process from start to finish
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in business or related major (Minimum Associate's Degree or other relevant certification)
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience in the music industry / entertainment industry / major music label / major music agency or experience in a major HR firm
- Passion for all genres of music and the international music industry
- Strong understanding and insight of the K-Pop and international music scene
- Knowledge in K-Pop and the music and entertainment industries
- Strong management skills to effectively work in a fast-paced and constantly changing work environment
- Ability to exhibit good judgment and broad acumen to interface with artists and other representatives
- Comprehensive organizational skill, time management, and computer skills
- Ability to work in an upbeat, friendly, and deadline-driven environment
- Bilingual - English/Korean
