JJProductions is seeking interns for Spring 2019. This unpaid part-time position (16-20 hrs/week) is a great opportunity to get first-hand experience exploring potential career paths in film production. Our company specializes and create beautiful and impactful documentaries.
Juan Jimenez Colombian American actor, coach, and director who was perhaps best known for his work as an actor on the television show ''Mas Sabe El Diablo'' (2009- 2010). Juan Jiménez has participated in different TV series. He also won the prize for best actor, in the delivery number 32 of Miami Film Festival ''Cinema Slam'' As a coach he is the director of Juan Jimenez Productions, INC & The Supernatural Actors Studio.
Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Producer & Production Managers in performing daily company and project-specific tasks.
Research locations, special film equipment, directors, DPs, art directors, and other creative talent.
Prepare Red digital cinema equipment.
Assist with pitches, treatments, and visual research.
Assist with research.
Requirements:
Candidate must be able to receive school credit for internship
Available 2-3 days per week (10am-6pm, hours may vary) for at least 3 months
Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, motivated, and self-driven, ready to jump in and get their hands dirty both in the office and on set as a Production Assistant
Impeccable written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and also within a team
Solid computer skills (proficient w/ Dropbox, Google Drive, Word, Excel, Pages; familiarity w/ Final Cut and Adobe Suite a plus)
Access to a car
Previous on-set production experience & knowledge of Los Angeles area a plus
Develop professional experience and contacts while gaining a broader perspective of the inner workings of a boutique production company
