Job Description
We are currently seeking proactive, energetic interns who love music and are up-to-date and in touch with the latest internet trends. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn first hand from music industry professionals. Jostle's Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain real world experience in marketing.
Responsibilities:
Assist team in social media strategy, campaign development and execution
Participate in brainstorms and creative idea development for upcoming projects and releases
Compile analytics into weekly/monthly social media reports
Daily market research and trend reporting
Create graphics and video content
Qualifications:
All candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or university. Internships are for college credit only.
Marketing, entertainment, business, music management, or communications related majors
Available 2-3 times a week to work at Jostle office (Burbank, CA) for minimum of 4 hours/day (between 10am-6pm)
Active on social media and able to demonstrate basic understanding of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, & YouTube
Knowledgeable of different artists and genres, music platforms, and up-to-date on the current social media trends and viral content
Tech savvy, attention to detail, good listener, have common sense
Own a functioning laptop
Graphic design skills and video editing experience - not required but a big plus
