Summary
The John Gore Organization seeks a highly motivated and analytic individual to join the Corporate Finance department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Record monthly journal entries including amortization of prepaid, allocations, cash, invoice accruals, and other adjusting entries
• Perform Bank Reconciliations for several major accounts
• Assist with Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Supporting Schedules by gathering and analyzing transactions from general ledger
• Prepare and file Sales & Use Tax and Commercial Rent Tax on a quarterly basis
• Process invoices by coding, ensuring appropriate approvals are made, and submitting to AP
• Assist with processing Fixed Assets in accounting system
• Assist with any other tasks including analysis and reconciliations on an as-needed basis

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-2 years experience in Accounting ideal but not necessary
Computer Skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office especially Excel using formulas and functions
• Ability to navigate and work within a computer software / system
