Web Designer

CBS Brand Studio is looking for an innovative and passionate Web Designer to join our digital product team! The Web Designer will be responsible for assisting the design department in creating assets used online, and must be able to see projects through from concept to wireframe to execution.

The Web Designer has the opportunity to collaborate on all aspects of the creative process including ideation, information architecture, brand evolution, visual design, and front-end development. We work on a wide variety of products, not just limited to websites and apps, so the ideal candidate must be conceptual, love all things digital, and hungry for more!

Responsibilities Include
o Brainstorm creative strategy around content for show websites, digital channels, mobile devices, and social networking sites
o Work on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites (desktop and mobile), apps, HTML newsletters, and more
o Maintain site usability by looking for ways to improve the user's overall experience
o Create web banners and ad units
o Provide quality assurance of all creative design deliverables
o Basic photo editing

Job Requirements
o Bachelor's Degree and strong portfolio with 1-2 years experience in similar role
o Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop and Illustrator)
o Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript is not required but preferred
o Understanding of online usability best-practices and current web design and accepted standards
o Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
o Enthusiasm and interest in the web, entertainment, comedy, and TV
