This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
The student will assist the Interactive Content Director with creation of and maintaining of content across all 6 of our radio station’s websites.
The focus of this internship is to help create new, original, compelling content for each of our six radio station’s websites.
The intern may attend promotional events for the purpose of videotaping the event and then editing the footage into short vignettes to be featured on the appropriate radio stations website. CBS’s goal is to offer their fans much more video content on their website with the interns help.
In addition to learning the inner working of the radio side of entertainment, you will also have a chance to hone your web skills by gaining additional training in the areas of graphic creation, use of content management system, spend additional hours adding content.
Additionally the intern may help the promotional department with developing new promos, or possibly shooting web commercials for their clients.
The internship program will provide an environment of creativity and team cooperation.
The Digital Media internship will consist of the following:
• Creation of web graphics including digital display ads and promotional graphics
• Learning the content management system to update web content
• Creation of new compelling content across all websites
• Online video production including editing, and optimizing for the web

Required Skills/ExperienceEnrolled in an accredited program and able to receive credit towards a degree for participation.
Preferred Skills/ExperienceOrganized, detail-oriented, possess strong typography and layout skills, and majoring in a design oriented field.
Proficiency in Photoshop and basic HTML. Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Knowledge of the Word Press Platform, a plus.
Minimum Education LevelHS Diploma or GEDAdditional Candidate InstructionsEnrolled in an accredited program and able to receive credit towards a degree for participation.
