Management / Production company is looking to bring on a new talent manager. This company was built with the intention to package projects and develop in house talent. If you're an intelligent, hardworking Associate Manager or a seasoned manager (discretion assured) looking to help grow a new business with a salary and commission share structure. this company is for you. The executives at this company have developed solid relationships within the business and are looking for the same drive, ambition and knowledge in potential candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Submitting and assertively pitching talent
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with agents/CD's/publicists/attorneys/talent
• Developing talent and actively creating strategies for actors/writers with existing careers
• Participating in development meetings
• Actively attending showcases/improv shows/screenings to scout new talent
• Maintaining database with talent and pertinent contacts
• Thinking outside of the box for client opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
• B.S. Degree in Film, Communication, Literature, Law, etc.
• 2-3 Years as a Jr. Manager, Manager, or Agent
• Working knowledge of entertainment law and union contracts
• Creative and pragmatic thinking
• Knowledge of studio execs/producers/CD's/agents
• Desire to be entrepreneurial
