Lionsgate is a leading global entertainment company with a strong and diversified presence in motion picture production and distribution, television programming and syndication, home entertainment, family entertainment, digital distribution, new channel platforms and international distribution and sales.
The Manager of Corporate Financial Planning will serve an important role in the growth and development of the Corporate Financial Planning department. Responsibilities will be focused on the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts, mid-range forecasts, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning.
RESPONSILIBITIES AND TASKS:
• Assist senior Finance team members (CFO, EVP, & SVP) in the preparation of the Company's quarterly financial forecasts, annual budget, and mid-range (3 to 5 year) forecasts
• Develop detailed monthly forecasts for various Lionsgate properties (Titles and Entities) on an Ultimate, P&L, and Cash basis
• Maintain Planning Ultimates on a quarterly basis
• Create and disseminate periodic/quarterly Corporate Financial Planning reports including variance analysis and metrics dashboards to senior management
• Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools
• Monitor performance indicators highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management for decision making purposes
• Develop financial models and analyses to support mergers and acquisitions
• Implement and work with Business Intelligence tools and dashboard reports
• Assist in the preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors and senior management team
• Supervision of Financial Analyst(s)
REQUIREMENTS:
• BS/BA in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting; alternatively, other BA and MBA
• 5 to 8 years of progressive finance experience; preferably in Finance and Entertainment
• Highest personal standards of integrity, accuracy, precision, and organization
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; SAP R/3 and BPC skills desirable
