Intern - On Air Promo

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The CBS Internship Program is designed to provide students with exposure to various departments within the television/entertainment industry.

With this in mind, managers are advised to delegate a diversified selection of assignments with an emphasis on projects, rather than clerical tasks. Additionally, the program serves as a way of providing CBS with an array of highly talented and qualified students eager to apply their skills in assisting with special projects.

This is intended to be a developmental experience, and as such, managers provide constructive guidance throughout the program.

Production Operations

Each intern will be exposed to the various areas of production. The goal is to develop their understanding of the promo production process from beginning to end. They will spend time observing, and assisting when possible, the various areas of production: productions management, production planning, finance, graphics design, technical operations, machine room operations, film/tape production, offline editing, online editing, audio sweetening, radio production, internet production (EyeLab), and End Credit production.
Required Skills/Experience
Enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university, and undergraduate students be an incoming junior or senior in the Fall.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

• Must have an interest in entertainment/cable television industry

• Proficient in MS Office applications
